Half Price Sale

So the Autumn internationals are almost over and I can get back to the business of writing about …well writing. This series always throws up some interesting results and the All Blacks usually struggle against at least one opponent. Having France and England two matches in a row has definitely taken a dent out of the All Blacks and although they recorded wins, it’s possible there could be lethargy this weekend.

That should be good news for the Irish who have named their strongest possible team. Not all of the team are in form and their big loss to Australia last weekend has confidence lower than it should be. But the men in green (our ‘Malachite Bretheren’ to use a phrase from ‘The Rugby Blanket’ ) will  definitely be fired up in this match. It is Brian O’Driscolls 128th test and probably his last against the All Blacks. I am really looking forward to this one and will be sitting somewhere behind the goal at the Lansdowne Road end if you’re watching. I’ll be the one wearing black.Whatever happens I think Joe Schmidt can do good things with this Irish team and that there are enough handy players to fill O’Driscolls shoes when he retires. It’s thanks to players like him that many good juniors chose to take up the game. In BOD we trust and god bless the All Blacks.
